What contractor websites actually do on a phone, measured monthly.
Every free audit runs the same checks on a real phone-sized browser. Each month we publish what those checks found across every site audited that month, per trade. No estimates, no surveys; the method page says exactly how each number is produced and what is left out.
What each monthly piece reports
- How many sites were measured, in which trade, in which states.
- Load time on a phone: the median time to the first real content, and the share past Google's 2.5-second line and its 4-second line.
- The first phone screen: the share with no call or booking button on it, and the share where a pop-up covers more than a quarter of it.
- Security warnings: the share whose address shows a certificate warning on a phone.
- AI readiness: the share blocking at least one AI crawler, the share with a business declared in structured data, the share with
llms.txt. - The platform split: what the sites are built on and how each platform's median load compares.
- What leads the audit: which finding was the biggest problem most often.
A piece is published only when at least 300 sites in that trade were measured in the month. The first ones arrive once the pipeline has run at that scale; the audit pipeline went live in November 2026.
