The Standard Engine is $700 a month on a 12-month agreement, plus $500 setup, so $1,200 on day one. It includes the rebuild of your site as plain, fast pages written for your trade and towns; hosting with a second copy in reserve; SSL; daily backups; and updates and fixes for the life of the agreement.
It launches at a 90+ phone performance score and under 2.5 seconds to the first real content, in writing, or there is no monthly fee until it does. The weekly local search work is not in it; that is the Growth Engine at $950.
Line by line
| Item | What it means |
|---|---|
| The rebuild | Your pages rewritten and rebuilt by hand, phone first: the first screen, the call bar, the service pages you have, your photos resized, your reviews placed. Staging link in 14 days; you approve it on your phone before anything changes. |
| Hosting, with a second copy | The site runs on our cluster with a copy on a separate standby, served through an edge network with a point near your customers. Hosting is not a separate line. |
| SSL | The certificate that stops the "not private" warning, kept renewed. Lapsed certificates are the first finding in a surprising share of audits. |
| Daily backups | Off-site copies of the site and its content, so a bad edit or a lost photo can be put back. |
| Updates and fixes | New phone number, a new truck photo, a price change, a new service, a broken link: send it, it is done. No hourly bill. |
| The speed promise | 90+ mobile performance and under 2.5 seconds at launch, or no monthly fee until it is. |
| Ownership | You own the code and the content. See who owns the code. |
What is not in it
- The weekly local search work: new service and town pages, Google Business Profile photos and posts, review replies, the monthly note with calls, speed and rankings. That is Growth, $950.
- AI-answer content, local record upkeep and the quarterly competitor review: Dominance, $1,300.
- Ads. We do not run them. The site is built so that if you do, they land on a page that answers the phone.
- Your domain registration. Stays in your name, at your registrar, a few dollars a year.
How that compares
The cost guide puts this next to a builder, a freelancer and an agency build over three years. The short version: the freelancer's $3,500 site is cheaper in year one and has no one measuring it in month nine; the agency's $12,000 build plus a retainer is three times the price for the same work. This page works out how many jobs the fee has to win to pay for itself.
What happens after the 12 months?
It continues month to month at the same price, or you stop and take the code. Most clients stay because the fee is the hosting, the updates and the fixes they would otherwise be buying piecemeal.
Can I start with Standard and move to Growth?
Yes, any month. The difference is the weekly work starting; nothing is rebuilt.
